(1/27/2022) Effective immediately, all new subscribers will be setup with their own subdomain and private site under the Health-Contract.com primary domain (such as cmh.health-contract.com). This change enhances many aspects of performance, service, and security:
- Testing reveals private subsites operate over 100% faster than when Community users share the Health-Contract.com primary domain. When you no longer share database tables with other accounts, we can remove database query filters that speed up performance for large accounts substantially.
- Subscribers can be upgraded to Dedicated and Custom Plans during normal working hours, without the need for an over-the-weekend migration. The most time consuming part of premium upgrade is setting up the subdomain and private site. If this is already done, we can upgrade folks with just a few clicks.
- Private subdomains and subsites enhance security by separating each client's data and files. This adds one more layer of redundancy to ensure that your files and data are secure.
Setting Your Subdomain Prefix
At checkout, all types of subscribers are asked to set a subdomain prefix. This is an acronym or word that will be added to the beginning of your private site.
For example, Community Memorial Hospital may select “cmh” as its subdomain prefix. Then all CMH users will login to their private site at:
https://cmh.health-contract.com
Upon completing checkout at the primary Health-Contract.com site, you will be immediately contacted by your account manager to confirm your subdomain availability and an ETA on your private subsite setup.
